William here. Wed I should be the owner of a 2005 Chalet. I've had a small truck camper for twenty years, but as I get older I want more floor space, especially for those long winter nights when I go camping. I'm excited. I curious about a wind kit for it. I see some threads on it and will read them, but suggestions would be much appreciated. By the way, I'm out in Colorado.

    Wind Kit?
Do you mean a wind turbine?
I'd go solar before wind. Looked into a wind turbine but the ones that would be small enough to be portable enough for a PopUp, just didn't generate sufficient power.

No, not a wind turbine. I already have one. I'm talking about a high wind kit.

Sorry but still don't know what you mean by a "High Wind Kit". Are you referring to a set of PopUp Gizmos?

A Chalet is an A-frame camper. William would probably get better responses in the A-frame section of the forum.

Welcome to the forum. For years we used the Wind Cheeta, but last winter one side locked up and wouldn't let me raise the roof. Those rods that also serve a lift assists look good, but I have never used them.
Try asking your question in the A-Frame Popups section of this forum. A-frame owners will know what you are talking about.
By adding your location in your profile and adding your camper and tow vehicle in your signature it will help people respond to your questions.
