    I've seen a different iteration but yeah, it's a neat idea. Unfortunately, I don't know of any car roofs designed to support adults climbing, walking or laying on without getting dented.

    I learned that lesson as a child. [;)]

    I think the bottom shell is designed to take the weight, and transfer it to the roof rack, not the roof itself. Hence the weigth limit. So as long as it was positioned so that it was easy to get into without leaning on the roof....
