    Hi Everyone,
We just picked up a new to us 1993 Coleman Destiny Royale. The previous owner kept it in great shape and considering it's age it's in really nice condition. I have to say we were nervous when going to look at it because it seemed fairly inexpensive, but upon inspection I was more than happy with the purchase. It also came with a new spare, another set of brand new tires mounted on rims, the original cook top, gas lines, 4 tire chocks, scissor jack and more. The few negatives, two small tears in the canvas which are easily fixable, the table top was redone and now it's to narrow to sit across the benches, and lastly the sink had a new faucet put in that's not original and that's fine but I need to think about mounting it properly.

We plan to use this camper for our family of 7, 2 adults, 3 kids, and 2 smaller dogs. We love camping and usually we meet up with my family at campgrounds with at least water hook ups and we use generators and battery for power.

Looking forward to our first camping trip coming up this Memorial Day and putting this thing to the test. We are doing a dry run in the back yard one weekend just to get situated but I can't wait to enjoy this summer.

This site has already gave me several pointers on things I wanted to address and the community seems like a great group of people! I look forward to asking you all for your advice and opinions and I thank you all in advance.

Some more pictures of the PUP. One other major thing I forgot to mention was it came with roof racks and a dometek awning. Also, as much as I am into motor sports i think those door stickers have to go...what do you think?

    Nice pics!

As far as the stickers, you will get a lot of different opinions. See THIS thread!

Looks good! I agree that the stickers should go. It's interesting that they painted the roof green! Kind of a cool look. Do you have plans to change anything (besides table top)?

Coleman made a batch of coolers I think in the 90’s that were these exact colors I remember that because I bought one at a yard sale one time. I also like the colors but I think I’m going to paint the roof white or black with flexseal for added leak protection being the paint is pealing slighted in a few spots.

I have already done a few things to the PUP in the short amount of time I’ve had it. On the queen size side I added extra supports for the middle of the bed. Seems from the factory these were included but mine didn’t have any. Also the bracket for the outside stove mount was also missing and that is one thing i plan to use a lot so I fabricated a new one.

My wife wants to replace curtains paint the cabinets and rewrap the bench seats. The floor was redone with new tile so I’ll leave that alone.

Exterior wise i want to make an outdoor shower and inside i was thinking about adding a furnace which the factory wiring is already there for but doesn’t look like that option was ever added. Also want to replace all the bulbs with leds and add a refrigerator, although I have thought about substituting that with an iceless 40qt Coleman cooler.

I'd be leery of heat build up from the sun with a black top. {Just my 2 cents) Good luck with your mods and enjoy that pup!
