Just picked up our new to us camper Saturday. Looking forward to hitting the campgrounds. So many to choose from, we have provincial parks and national parks private parks etc etc. Any suggestions as to what to stay away from, and which are really good! We have a 2011 Viking legend and are really excited to try it out!
Wolfie659, Welcome to the Portal, eh! To answer some of your questions. From our experience every campground has its merits. We have stayed at provincial parks, state parks, 'national' parks (Quebec provincial), conservation areas, and private parks. They all have their pluses and minuses. It is really up to you and what you like. For example: do you like by a lake? do you like woods and trails? childrens activities? adult activities? beach? Some campgrounds over some or all of these. As far as specific campgrounds in Manitoba we can not help you as we have no experience there; maybe Manitobans can chime in here. Good Luck and Happy Camping. Frank and Susan in London, Ontario.
