Hello! I'm jumping into the world of camping and travel trailers head first! No real experience with either one and a soon to be single mom on top of that. I'm looking to buy not only a popup but a TV as well. Any advice is welcome. Thanks in advance, Sarah
Welcome from Texas, pick you out a TV that is plenty big enough, and has tow package to tow the camper you choose. Good luck on your search!
Welcome from Texas! Pick out the camper then get the tow vehicle to match. If you think there is a possibility of going to a larger camper before replacing the vehicle then take that into account when buying the vehicle and get a large enough vehicle. I used to work in jackson county and miss that area tremendously.
Welcome to the Portal from N/W Fl. Panhandle. As stated make sure your TV can pull whatever unit you buy. Take the time to look around for the right PUP or Travel Trailer that will fit your camping desires and needs you will know when you find it. Good Luck and Happy Camping.
Thanks for the welcome! I wasn't planning on buying a pop up so soon, but I found one that I couldn't pass up. I am now the proud owner of a 2001 Starcraft 2101!!!!! There is no mold or rot that I could see. The canvas is in good shape except for one corner of one the beds. Now to work on some cosmetic renovations!!
Welcome from Salt Lake city... but a Mississippi native.. Grew up around hattiesburg... spent 3 summers in college at Henderson Point/Pass Christian! Used to fish out of Pascagoula river a bit to head out to the rigs.... Good luck with pup and TV
Nah, but we go back there several times a week- we live less than a mile away. (And our 17yo with Down syndrome lives the gators.). For local(ish) camping we like Clarkco and Percy Quin.
