I’m a newbie to pop ups, but a lifelong tent camper, but DH grew up using a PUP (calls it a tent trailer, maybe a regional thing?) We inherited a 1997 Fleetwood Taos and took it out once with DS and DD (twins) when they were 3yrs old and potty training. PUP was wonderful with kids, but running back and forth to toilet down a muddy trail in the night with crying littles 😩 wasnā€˜t my idea of fun, so we waited a couple years and are finally ready to try again. This time we’ll have kids and a pup 🐶 in our PUP. Found this community searching online for PUP tips—what a treasure trove of knowledge and experience here!!! We have four weeklong trips planned this summer and I only wish the 19F degree weather would warm up so I can do a driveway camp ASAP!! 06125280-D4C9-46E4-87E3-982784AB08C8.jpeg

Can you do driveway camping at home? If you have power nearby there's no reason you can't all be comfortable with a space heater. They do a remarkable job keeping the popup warm. Of course, we have electric blankets, too.😁

Welcome! Enjoyed the picture. I've been to 45 of the 50 states and most of the state I haven't visited are in your area, so hope you keep posting pics.
