What a great forum. Have been a tent camper since a youngster and finally with nudging from the wife purchased a 1999 Coleman Santa Fe yesterday.
We will be towing with our 2001 Honda Odyssey. We like camping at Minnesota State Parks as there are many to choose from and are beautiful. Most have a lake or river.
Looking forward to using the forum.
I run a forum myself and they are an amazing way for people to spread knowledge and have fun too.

Welcome to the forum from another Minnesotan and one who also loves the state parks. We have been pup camping for the last eleven years and it has been a wonderful way to go camping and explore. Enjoy your new adventure. :)

Welcome! Being new to this beautiful state, and new to camping we havent had much of a chance to hit any of the state parks but we hope to remedy that asap. We have a trip planned to campers paradise and are trying to plan a trip to deluth soon as well. Were living in Sauk Centre. What part of the state are you in?

Always good to see more Minnesotans on board! Welcome!! Congratulations on the new to you popup.

Did a lot of state park camping with my parents when I was younger. So far in the couple years that my wife and I have had our popup, we have not made it to many, but I am looking forward to revisiting several of those from previous trips, eventually.

Looking forward to seeing you around the forum.

We live in the Metro but are both originally from Northern MN.
We like the State Parks as they seem consistent with being well kept, toilets, showers etc. Buy a season pass for your vehicle and the campsites are reasonable. Can reserve online.

State Park bathrooms are a big seller, but I also love the natural spaces between sites. It really feels like camping. [CP]

Fourth of July we went to Minneapo State Park for the first time just outside Mankato. Beautiful park. Perfect for pop-up trailers.
