Hello, everyone. I have been lurking big time since we bought a 2007 Fleetwood Niagara in May 2020 (towing with 2014 Silverado 2500). We have given it a lot of TLC since and many of the ideas and solutions we needed, I was able to find here. Thank you so much for sharing what you've learned! We've taken it out with our family of four (two adults, two teenagers) plus our aging pooch about once every six weeks. We've been tent campers for a long time so we are enjoying the luxury of a li'l land yacht. What have we done to this beast? Stripped cracked vinyl striping and replaced with new New graphics (she is now the Fleetwood Mac) Replaced or repainted all trim pieces Revived the neglected fridge and propane heater Replaced all curtains (incl. the weirdo shower curtain) Added USB charging outlet and voltmeter Upgraded batteries Upgraded to 2 - 30 lb. propane tanks Replaced trailer harness wiring Next up: Trailer skirt (for cold weather camping) and bunk end skirts (to hide all of our ugly camping junk ). Some day, we'll tackle the canvas...it holds up to the weather but looks sad and tired next to our new graphics. If you see the Fleetwood Mac in the desert or mountain Southwest, come say 'hi'
Welcome from NM. You have access to a lot of great camping and hiking from Tucson. (We usually visit friends there at least a couple of times a year, we were sad to miss Thanksgiving with them last year - only the second time we've missed it in 20 years. This year, Roper Lake SP is on the calendar.)
Welcome to the forum from Awhatukee... Glad you joined us. You have so many State campgrounds nearby. They’re the best in AZ. Maybe we’ll meet out on the road or campground someday. Happy Camping...
Here are a few! (Hopefully I've attached properly. If not, I'll fix it.) I ordered the striping through a local auto vinyl dealer so I could get a product that more easily adheres to textured surfaces (no bubbles). The other stuff is just vinyl I ordered from Etsy, etc. I'm not covinced the 45 record graphic will last attached to the tire cover (it's flexible vinyl on vinyl). Time will tell.
I love the cousin Eddie graphic by the sewer outlet! I can hear the music and his epic words in my mind...
