I've actually thought about this. My pup would be perfect for this. it's fold out sideways vs length wise and it's rather light too. maybe one day.

Actually now that i remember it, some lakes rent out motorized barges that you can load your pup, travel trailer and go explore the lake. Though when you go out to camp you're boondocking it. there's no amenities at the hard to reach beaches and islands.
