I'll be at the AZ Rally Apr 1-3!
Ryan and Patrick,
Glad to see you are back on the road with your NTY PU. The PU looks great to be 40+ years old!
Awesome find, Ryan. Do you even need to unhook car to set it up?
Nope, The front bunk folds out just above the hitch!!
What a cool Pup! That slide out counter is amazing! You will be having frequent visitors at the campground wanting to see that up close. I know I would.
I usually boondock, but also anticipate visitors while in CG's!!
Awesome Ryan. This thing is right up your alley. I think it suites you well. Very happy for you guys. Camp on!
We were rained out this weekend, but planning to go this coming weekend!!
the down side of a side out galley:
"It's a neat design but for us we couldn't really use it. We camp in bear county and I can't be cooking in the trailer or even on a pull out galley that will be pushed back in. If there are any smells of food left on that galley the bears will smell it. I sure don't want any bears coming to visit me in the middle of the night. "
Anyone who thinks they don't have smells in a conventional galley is mistaken. The trick is makeing your neighbor more attractive for bears than you!
Got the registration back, $75 ($30 for the gals fee for paperwork, $20 for a paper title, $10 for PTI renewal (typically 5 years, but only good until 8/17 due to outdated registration), $8 for taxes, and $7 for transfer fee.
So $400 for a 43 year old pup!! I had to make a few repairs, new tires, and a few other things, but well worth it!!
No different than a coleman stove on the picnic table or a cooler.... I don't plan to use the stove or cooler anyway. I have my Camp Chef Oven that works great for us!!
I want to see the Bear Race!
Not me! I've seen you in shorts! . ( you were referring to a streaker....right?)
Oh, you meant bear not bare.
clothing increases DRAG depending on your persuasion!
I can think of at least three meanings in that statement
Packing up for the maiden voyage to start tomorrow!! More pictures to come next week!!
Bon voyage Ryan and patty....
Man that is GREAT!!!
I'm hosting a meet-up group and have a couple other people meeting up, sort of a mini-rally for any type of campers!!
One of the bags in the pup has a foam topper, and in the bottom was multiple sheets that smelled freshly laundered, I washed them any way!! Score!!
I measured the bunks today. both side bunks are 4'w x 6' 3"L, the front bunk is 5'11"w x 4'L.
