Sweet looking PU I really love the setup of these of old units
This is amazing! What a cool find.
I really do like it. I do miss the queen bed from the previous pup, however I like having 3 beds and not give up floor space...
Heading out today for a couple nights!!
That's awesome! I hope you guys have dry sleeping and cool nights!!
Got down to 42 Friday and 46 Saturday, dry. I don't mind a little rain!!
Great sleeping weather!! I have to share...for me, the sound/music of rain hitting the tent is most relaxing and helps me reflect positively. Honestly, rain on the tent knocks me out Everytime LOL!!
School starts Wednesday here, we are working the work and home schedules to be manipulated for another trip in September.
It's Monday again...very quick weekend here in CT!!
Rain is a good thing, a song about that also!!
We are on week 6 of school already... But we do a lot of 2 nighters locally!
Just love the vintage pop-ups...you got a great one...still searching for my Appleby....
I thought there was an appleby listed here..
Just spent a few nights below freezing in the old gal...
THAT IS SO COOL! Enjoy!!
Here is another photo of the WARDs early popup trailers i found on-line...
Alot of the Australia Campers like to do this same idea for their off-road campers...
Pretty neat for sure...
That one is quite interesting to me... I know the 71 year had metal pipes for the lift arms vs 73, like mine, has aluminum tube lift arms.
My slide out has a cooler at the end, the rear door folds down and not attached to the slide out.
The center door I suspect swings open as there is a step, vs my door folds down and is the step.
The wheels outside of the box indicate to me it is not the factory axle, or was an option as there is a post about a "1960's" MW a guy got cheap and fixed up.
Those off-road trailers in Australia looks like our off-road popup trailers but most of them are just drawers, storage, and battery power plants etc... Then they setup a big tent around it... Use the top of the trailer for a big bed setup under the tent...
Kinda neat setup if you ask me hehe...
Caravan Sales Images
I really like how the kitchen pulls out. These are great units wish that I had one!
It is pretty unique!! I have come across a few others on craigslist and other sale sites... One in WA was asking $5,000 and it was no where near as good of condition as mine... lol
Just spent a few more nights, so far 48 nights in the MW in just over a year.
I love this camper! I especially like how the kitchen pulls out. Great find!
Well I will offer 200 cash money for that rig! I like your neighborhood too!
48 nights? That should put you in the running for a late night self improvement infomercial
Actually, congratulations on achieving what many on here aspire to do, myself included, camp a lot. Of course your very cool vintage pup helps too I assume. Nice find.
