After probing around my new pup, I see that there is a water storage tank. My lines are hooked up. How does water get to sink? Is there a pump that is supposed to turn on when the handle is pressed down? I see I will have to get a grey water tank too. Thanks in advance!
Yes there is usally a pump , and a switch to turn it on. That is unless its a small tank and the flacuet is a pump version.
What lines are hooked up? If connexted to a hose , that bypasses the tank and used the pressure from the hose instead. The pump uses dc, or battery power.
I see the line from the city water and the line from tank both going to handle. I do not see a pump from tank. Pics...
Sorry i dont have that brand of camper, and would be guesing at this point. If it has a tank ( and its big) it has to have a pump, or had one at one time.
Looks like you have a hand pump faucet. How about a photo of the top of the faucet/pump and we can get you a link to its operation.
Yup, that is a manual suction pump faucet. Operate the handle up and down a few times to draw water from the tank on each stroke. That is, if the hose is not kinked, and that the internal rubber bellows is in tact. The pump portion is re-buildable if you need, you can purchase a kit with new bellows and assorted other internal parts. The faucet should have provisions to control city water connection to pup via hose. I have never tried to operate mine in that manner, so someone else may be able to provide more insight to that function.
