We were north of Las Vegas making photographs and stumbled upon this awesome pop-up campground. No large motor homes in this one, although there is another in the park for them. If you have the chance, this is an unsurpassed location. I have to share a couple of photos. The camper shown is not ours.

The photo just does not do justice to the beauty...

Welcome to the forum from Texas. That looks like a really beautiful place.

    Happy Camping!

EV2, quite a change from our Midwestern scenery isn't it? It is stark yet beautiful there.

    Also, welcome to PUP!

I was there in the fall of 2010 and agree that the place is absolutely awesome. Fantastic beauty. There is a CG with hook-ups that attracts the big rigs and one without that is better for PUPs IMO. Don't settle for the sites around the loop when you pull in, though. There is a spur road that leaves the loop at the rear and the best sites (more private) are up there. Enjoy this CG during the week because it is a Las Vegas Party Place on the weekend. Horrible, boorish, raucous and completely obnoxious drunken giant party noise.

Here are a couple of shots of my campsite and the CG
