Hi all, My first CG review... On our first US trip, we went to the Adirondack Camping Village for 4 nights in August. It's located 5 minutes north of Lake George, NY. We have a 20-ft popup and chose a water/electric site. We are a family of 4, 2 adults and 2 boys. We enjoyed our stay as the sites are nicely spaced. Most of the sites I've seen are in the shadows as it's a pine forest. So it got quite dark in the pup! The site we had was clean but had to move the fire pit (old rusty wheel hub) as it was in the way. The swimming pool was clean and refreshing. The rec room was sometimes crowded but the games are nice. There were 3 working arcade machines as the Web site shows many more. The showers were okay. They could be cleaner as they use shower curtains, which we find icky. The restrooms were not good. They tended to smell bad and were not cleaned often. And the doors are shoulder-height! So people can see you while you stand up and.. uh.. wipe.. People there are nice and curfews were followed. Staff are also nice and helpful. In all, we recommend this CG and would gladly go back. B.
