We stayed 2 nights at Glimmerglass SP near Cooperstown this weekend with some friends. What a quaint little park!!! There are not many sites, but the layout is quite nice and the facilities are some of the best we have encountered. We stayed in site #36 which was probably the most wooded and private site in the park. Others nearby and on the outer loop with us were also nice - #37 was also very private. Some in the middle were very exposed, but these were the first ones that were not shadded or private that I didn't think I would mind occupying. There was a nice beach (too cold to use though) and some nice fishing spots (didn't catch anything) as well as a few nice hikes - the long of which we did and it was a very scenic and exerting walk. Overall we had a great trip - for what could be the last of the year.
