Hello to everyone from southern Ontario. Just caught wind of this rally, via Snow’s response to my introduction post... not sure if I’ll be able to make it this year (everything’s booked up) but I hope to meet some of you at some point soon.

Do you ever host a Fall rally as well? I almost asked about winter but then forget I was on popupportal (long time 4 season tent camper here).

    Welcome, AndreD!
We have had fall rallies in the past. I’ll leave it to Snow to give more details re that. The 5-month window opened for Sept 25th today; so it would be good to plan a date/location soon, if we are have a chance to get reservations. Is there a campground that you’d like to recommend?

Not sure if you have seen, but Snow posted some info on the Thanksgiving Gathering.

I have a site for the rally that I won’t be able to use due to an injury. I’ll start a conversation with you to give you the details.

And so comes the end of another Summer Rally. I guess we will call this the Wrenchgear/Sparky Summer Rally. Attendance was down, with all the family members of the 2 families equaling only 13 people. The rain came and went, the mosquitos came and went, the beach was beautiful, the lake was great. Hot sun for a couple of days. We had many campfires, had some drinks, told a few jokes and overall, had a great time. We were there for the whole week, Sparky and his gang showed up for the weekend.

The walls sit on top of the floor.. so unless you're ready to pull the wall loose, you'll have to cut the floor close to the wall.

Find the source of the leak causing the damage and repair..

When you cut out the floor, set the saw blade height real low.. and cut out a good 1 inch into solid wood so you have something to screw backers into.. and go slow..
