When we bought our 97 Sun Ridge it was partially being redone. I'm not sure where this is supposed to plug into. Does it somehow go into the converter?

No, not that I can see. The other cords go behind the wood.

power has to go in and out somewhere. If I could see the connections I could answer your question.

That looks like a battery tender trickle charger. They usually have a power cord that plugs into a 110 v outlet and then two wires with alligator clips to connect to the battery. It's designed to provide a slow low amperage charge over a long period of time.

@Party of 5 put the make and model of your pup in your signature. It will help others know what you have.
Your converter may be able to charge the battery, but if the P.o. installed that one, then the Converters charger may be bad or non-existent. More info always helps us out.
Like Tombiasi said, pics of the wires coming in and out of it will help as well.

Unclear how this is 'wired' but it is intended to 'plug into' a regular household outlet with the ring terminals connected to a battery. How is it wired/'plug into'? Tracing some wires will be required which would lead to better understanding of you electrical system.

In this case RED would go to positive terminal and black to the negative.

Thank you for the responses. So it appears the red and black ones are going into the converter.

That's probably where the battery connects.

Yes, but just wondering what I'm supposed to do with the black and white wires coming from the other end that I originally was asking about.

If the black and white wires are coming from the battery, the white goes where the charger black is and the black goes where the charger red is.
I'm assuming your converter doesn't charge.

The black and white from the charger are to go to 120 VAC.

See your (pre-modified) device in post #8 by Rabird. See the right side of his picture. Originally your white and black wire had a 120 v ac grounded plug on it. The green ground wire was probably cut short/off. To use this device to trickle charge your battery, you’d need to put a plug on it and connect it via an extension cord to a shore power outlet at home or at an RV w/ hookup site.
