    That looks like a standard Michigan State Park fire pit made of steel culvert, concrete, and steel culvert somewhere between 30 - 36" across the inside IIRC. and a couple feet deep, depending on when the ashes were last cleaned out [:D] No such thing as a moveable fire pit at the state parks [CF]

    Well this is the best campfire ring/ fire pit of any cg I've ever been to, and some don't have the grates on them[​IMG]

    The jayco is the first choice when I was looking but cuoldnt find a new one

    Has anyone had a bad experience with a Jayco pop up?

    I wouldn't say bad experience, I spent a little more fixing it up than I would have liked, but I bought a 1995 with all original equipment. I am having a roof leak issue I haven't tracked down yet.


    Lesson learned unless you do it your self a brake replacement and master cylinder replacement can be expensive. Tires aren't cheap, and rewiring can be a pain. A new unit might be cheaper in the long run. Having said that, I really like it a lot.

    Jayco builds quality units as far as I am concerned. Nice popup am sure you and yours will enjoy and make plenty of memories!

    Had a flat tire once on my first longer trip than camp driveway, I had a spare, and now I have 3 new tires and a spare set of bearings with grease and tools necessary to field service tire and axle problems, also greased my lift cables not being able to roll or lift would stop a camping trip every othert problem is well just camping [:D] 1993 Jayco 1006 NTU

    We have a Jayco 141J, 2010, no issues yet, prior we had a 2005 107, no problems with that Jayko.
