    Rick,

My deepest condolences on your loss. What a beautiful gift you gave Winston...taking him camping that one last time and providing him with such loving and peaceful surroundings in which he chose to leave this life. He was so blessed to have your family as "his."

My dog "Baby" is 11-13 (exact age unknown as she was a "walk-up") and the signs of age are appearing. She and I have shared so much together; I know when she leaves I will have an enormous void in my life.

My thoughts are with you and yours during this time of loss.

    Peace, strength, love, and light,
    Betty

Sorry about the loss of Winston. It was a wonderful thing you did for him, taking him camping when he loved to do that so much. We have two dogs who love camping as well. They are still puppies so will be with us hopefully for a while.

All the best to you and your family at this very difficult time.

So sorry to hear of the loss of your Winston.

Though it was hard on all of you, I'm sure, you gave him the best gift anyone can give a pet - the same unconditional love he gave to you, and a chance to leave this earth peacefully in the midst of those people and places he loved best.

And bless that camp ranger for seeing that and giving Winston a wonderful resting place.

So sorry to hear about Winston. He sounds like a great dog and a good camping friend. Nice of the CG owners to sympathize and help out.
