Hi Folks! First off, thank you for letting me lurk for months! We bought our first family PUP last spring, then immediately busted one of the bunks in our '93 Pioneer Arcadia due to structural integrity (and a few extra cheeseburgers, maybe). I was pregnant and SO over it, but we're back in the groove of fixing it up and getting ready for a big Labor Day trip! My husband and I are working to get healthier and more present in our lives, and camping is SUCH a big part of that for me! My city boy husband doesn't see why we should sleep outside when we have perfectly good beds at home, so the pressure is on to make camping as relaxed and fun as we can! We have a one-year-old boy who's just barely walking and a wild independent 3-year-old girl who CAN NOT WAIT to sleep in her "camping." <3 Carly
Welcome from Chicagoland. My wife and I am also working on getting healthier, and there’s nothing that beats cravings more than camping! Add in the hiking and trails when your little ones get older and hopefully you’re in for life
Hello from the Buckeye State! Remember that small steps over time lead to success when changing behavior. Failure is just fine, don't quit!
Welcome! I hope your DH ends up loving camping and you are able to make lots of happy family memories! Kids need camping these days more than ever.
