I need some help. We have a NTU 2010 Coleman Utah, and we are having trouble with the outdoor grill. The curbside hookup runs at 16 psi, and when we open the line to the grill it immediately starts leaking at the connection to the grill. We were under the impression that the grill and hose were original parts of the trailer, but when we looked closer the hose said "1/2 psi max." Clearly a 1/2 psi hose has no business being connected to a 16 psi line.

So here's my question - is this a low pressure stove that a PO mistakenly purchased for this high pressure line? Or is this a high pressure stove and someone just had the wrong hose? The stove itself has a quick connect fitting, which leads me to think it is meant for low pressure. Is there such a thing as a high pressure quick connect for these curbside grills?

The fitting on your camper is a high pressure fitting. The stove has a low pressure quick-connect.

If the stove is indeed a low pressure device you cannot run it on high pressure. You need a tap after the regulators.

The good news is you can get something like a Weber Q grill, porta chef and a couple other grills or even a Coleman stove and connect to that high pressure connection..

Update: We ordered a hose to hook up a Coleman camp stove to HP hookup. We bought an old coffee table at a flea market, removed the legs, and drilled some holes to place it on the BBQ support brackets. Now we have a table connected to the PUP on which we can place the cook stove!
