I think I posted this in the wrong spot, so, now we'll try it here.

My family is heading to Arizona, from Ohio, this summer and are planning on putting in a long day for the first of three, which should put us roughly near Tulsa. Does anyone have a good park for an overnight in that area?

    Thanks much,

    Metadifluoro

There is a KOA just northeast of Tulsa, Will Rogers Downs KOA also northeast there is Claremore Expo Center that has a RV Park. You might want to check there website to make sure there are no events schdueled where they would be sold out. For just a stop overnight Mingo RV Park or Warrior RV, although Warrior is very close to the freeway and you will get more traffic noise. If you don't need hookups and want free there is a Bass Pro Shop that allows overnighting in there parking lot on the east side of Tulsa. On the Southwest side of Tulsa there is Cross Trails RV Park. For just a quick overnight any of these places would work. If you were staying longer there are several State Parks not far from Tulsa but would be a little out of the way for just an overnight.

The Will Rogers is not a bad park stayed there over night week day. Friday morning got to see the Horses run in the am. decent Wifi but make sure you got a pressure regulator cause they got a lot of water pressure!! but nice quiet park near the casino not hard to get into or out of. I think the casino has a restaurant I did not check. But there store in the KOA is very limited so don't expect to get food stuff there. was $ 35.10 I am a KOA member

I had planned to use Heyburn State Park just off 44 southwest of Tulsa on our way back from Carlsbad a couple years ago. Looked promising, but I didn't quite make it that far and ended up stopping at Central State Park on the north side of Arcadia lake outside of Oklahoma City. If you can make the extra distance this CG has the advantage of being on Route 66 just 5 miles from Pops diner and the Round Barn.
