I'm looking for the ACTUAL users/owners manual for a 1996 Rockwood Freedom 1910. I've ordered a manual from Rockriver, however, it is a generic manual for all of their models. Current year models. I'm trying to see what bells and whistles and how this older camper actually operates. If anyone has an origional manual for a 1996 Rockwood Freedom 1910, please contact me ASAP. Many Thanks,

I'm not sure you will find anything different that the Model Year Owner's Manual. That is the way most manufacturers put out their manuals...by the model year....one manual for all models. Seems kinda silly, but thats the way it's done.

The manuals are simplistic and generic. Not much changes over the years. Does the manual they sent you look like the one on the link above for owners manuals. I own a rockwood, If you have questions I'll try to answer them.

Owners manuals are made for the year of production with seperate notes for those models that have something different, like a slide out or shower.
Our Starcraft was for all for one and one for all.
Even the Fleetwoods are all the same, covering small, medium and large.

But they had to have printed a manual for 1996 models. Wnen the 1996 models were the present models. That is the manual I'm looking for.

I know what you are looking for and no, they do not print one.

My 1995 manual differs little from the 2004 manual they have online here.

The main difference is, I do not have the instructions for the slide out in mine.

What they sent you and what is online here should match up very close.

If what you are looking for is the converter instructions, funace instructions, fridge instructions, AC instructions, they all came with the appliances and were specific to that appliance.

I have PDFs for all of mine.

If you are looking for these, tell me the brand name/model of your units. They should be the same as mine and I can E-Mail you copies of them. I even have the repair manual for some of them!

    Gambit,

Thanks for the offer. I'll get back intouch with you with you regarding the name/models of my converter , funace , fridge, etc. Do you know if my model pup came with a battery hookup? It is strange that it has heat, ac, stove, fridge, and lights and the only way to run the light is with shore power.

    Mine didn't.

The interior lights work fine from the TV power if you have a wire hooked up for it. This wire goes right past under the propane tank so, if you want to mount a battery box there beside the tank, the wires are there to tie in to.

I uase a big gel-cell which normally is on my computer UPS. When I need it, I just shut the UPS down and steal it's battery and take it camping!

Finding a battery box for this monster could be a problem and it does not give off any gases so, I just put it inside in a iron frame I built for it to keep it in one place when traveling. Being inside also makes sure it is still there when I come back. ;-)
