Very nice looking. You guys did great!
How did you do the cushion fabric? They don't look sewn.
Would you please share how you took the canvas/vinyl down and washed it?
What products did you use? What method did you use to wash and dry?
Thank you for sharing...
Looks great. What brand and model is the camper please?
We cut thin plywood slightly smaller then the cushion, layed the wood on the cushion, and stapled the new fabric that wrapped around the cushion to the plywood.
We took the canvas off the clips and slid the canvas off any tracks it was in, and the canvas came right off.
We layed each canvas out I used a non abrasive sponge at first, than switched to a scrub brush cause the sponge wasn't working. We used woolite soap and water in a bucket.
After it was scrubbed we layed it out in the sun. I sprayed bleach water on the parts of canvas had mildew and stained. We let it sit for 10-15 minutes and than sprayed it down with the water hose to rinse the bleach off.
Than it sat out in the sun to completely dry for a few days. It was summer so no chance of rain.
Than reattached the canvas.
The camper is a 1998 camplite 2208.
That looks really nice and clean. I never did really like the outlandish patterns of typical camper interior fabrics. Nice clean solids will go a very long way with keeping it clean!
That floor looks awesome too.
Don't be too worried, if you used a full gloss, or semi gloss white, that wipes clean really easy...
