Can anyone tell me how long they made the hard side palomino tent campers?

They quit making them during the 2007 (maybe 2008) model year. As far as I know, they made them from the 70's until 2007.

Yes, what theseus said--Palomino XL's were produced from about '81 to 2005, then reintroduced for 2007-2008. With the Forest River takeover, the XL models have been dropped.

That's not a bad price...as new as it is, it would have the crank system---the older XL's have the side lift arms/supports. However, check the canvas and screens....sometimes they get pinched and ripped by the folding side walls.
Other than that, just the usual checklist that any older camper would get...tires, roof condition, etc.

    Good luck!
