Like my last Pup, I plan on using the laptop in our newer Pup. My son and I love to watch movies together right before bed, and the Starcraft has a nice little "space shelf" built on the bunk end. My plan is to use some PC speakers on this shelf connected to the laptop because one of the built-in speakers doesn't work. I have a nice 2.1 Cambridge Soundworks system connected to my desktop at home, but my wife would kill me if I took it along. Plus, I want to mount something more permanent. This system is no longer made (bummer) and Ebay prices are higher than what I paid for it 15yrs ago. Any recommendations? I prefer the smaller cubes over the taller rectangle speakers.

I'm not looking for a lot of sound, but rather, a "full" sound from the speaker package. Most pc speakers are garbage, and I'm somewhat of an audiophile.
