Here is mine, I went from an 8" tire to a 12" tire. My pup has a torsion axle so I had a friend weld in some blocks to get my lift.

Thats the only photo I could find of it hooked up. I will have to get a better one.

Good thread, not sure why it died.

Here is a photo of my 5th Gen 4Runner on 33's and a 3" lift, 2011 Coleman Santa Fe Cp with axle flip.

Just a spring over and took the wheels and tires off my harbor fright trailer. gave it almost 7" of lift. Tires are kinda narrow but nuthins broke yet.

Here's mine hitched up after lifting the torsion axle on my Starcraft:

1989 Suburban with 4" lift and 35" tires, 1986 Starcraft Starlite with about 7" of lift on the stock tires for now.

Still planning on larger tires for the trailer; I am running like a 6" drop hitch right now, so I have some room to "grow". Looking at a set of these:

Nice amount of sidewall to help absorb bumps.

Wow, beautiful Burb! Wish I could find one in that kind of shape. Just traded my 91 in last year with holes all over it.

Fwiw here's ours. '01 Coleman Niagara with the Dexter over/under kit. New tires/wheels are 205 width on 14" wheels. Biggest I could fit and not interfere with the stepper door.

Here is an after of our Niagara with a new 5000lb axle mounted under the springs...

Here is a pic from before with the 3500lb axle above the springs...

We still need to work on a double step and possibly longer stabilizers.

Another 05 Niagara - this one with the Dexter axle flip kit only. The Commander has a 2" lift also.

2002 Coleman Sun Valley- Here's my homemade (no kit) axel flip result from a few years ago. Essentially I put the springs above the axel, that's about it. Make sure the bend of the axel is up- used the stock 2700lb. axel. I gained about 4.5" in height and spent maybe $15. Double nutted (w/nyloc nut) the U-bolt just for security. Here are some photos- better than I can explain it (don't ask me to! Laugh). First photo close-up. Second photo in campground- hard to see actual lift without comparison. Third photo, 15 miles off the paved road at 5400' elevation. Caught in a storm- lost the awning to wind then got three inches of snow unexpectedly. Water line almost froze, knocked snow off the canvas every couple of hours. I don't recommend camping in the snow but the trailer otherwise performed quite nicely.

Before and after of our Westlake. I used the Dexter kit. So much better not having to worry about the trailer dragging on every gas station approach.

1D53131A-9810-48BE-9FAA-C35D5FF7C570.jpeg Here’s a close up of mine. Got it high enough for 13” tires. Very happy, goes anywhere my truck can. Just needed a step and blocks under the stabilizers.

I'm new to the world of PUPs, and this is a new thing to me. In case there are other newbies who don't know about this:

Is the over/under mod swapping the leaf springs from under the axle to over?
Just for additional ground clearance or are there other benefits?

You relocate the axle so it sits under the leaf springs. The lift gain is height of the axle plus the spring perches. Usually 3.5 to 4in. Ground clearance is the biggest benefit.
