I picked up my Jayco Baja today and it towed like a champ. I took your advice and bought a brake controller and am glad I did. Thanks for the input. I went with the P3 instead of the Prodigy. Same company, just the "latest and greatest" controller they have. It has more features and you can switch from electric to hydraulic brakes with the push of a button. Not knowing if I would ever need a hydraulic controller I decided to play it safe and be ready in case I do. I still need to dial it in but that won't be hard, and it worked just great as it is now.
Anyway, just wanted to say thanks and if there is someone on this forum that has a Baja I will probably be asking a lot of questions in the future. Like why the heck did they make the water heater drain so hard to get to???? Is there an extension I can buy to make it usable? Stuff like that...

Congratulations on bringing your Baja home! Good to hear that everything went well.

You'll quickly find a lot of things to mod, some just to make it fit your personality, likes and dislikes, and others to rectify some of the "manufacturing shortfalls" like the location of drains.
