pop up trailer with storage box or not worth the trouble

    I don't have the front storage, but wish I did. However, it would not be a deal breaker. I would rather have more room inside, than sacrifice inside room for front storage - if those were my two choices. I just take care to clean things off before packing back up in the camper (totes and covers for grill and smoker). If I found a pup with a slide out, I think it would be needed.

    2000 Westlake the front box floor rotted.. That said, the front box is a huge value add if you like to carry extra stuff out like tents, ect.

    I advise going worth a box and monitoring it carefully.

    Our Fleetwood has the hard plastic storage box that is not connected to the camper. ( cant access it from the inside) and love the extra storage room it offers. No problems with leaks so far.
