On my 2003 Coleman Utah the porch light has one of thoses powered "headphone jacks" the same as inside lights have that power my bunk fan/light. Besides the obvious in using the fan outside is there other attachments for this? Did Coleman/Fleetwood have a line of products that used these type of power connectors?

I don't recall ever seeing anything but the bunkend fan/lights but perhaps there were some after market items.

You can always take a creat-a-breeze or similar 12volt fan and wire it to work.

I don't know about anything provided by factory, but I use it with a bunk end light attached to a tarp pole so I can see when I cook outside. Works great for what I use it for. I tuck the tarp pole under the lip of the roof so it keeps it in place. I use a bungie to prevent it from slipping if it's windy. IMG_20190331_115625865.jpg

That's a great idea. Will be replicating that for sure.

You can plug any 12 vdc device into this power source as long as draw is moderate, say 5 to 6 amps max. These "headphone jacks" are in fact 1/2" mono tip & sleeve audio connectors - tip is positive, sleeve is negative.

Nothing other than bunk end lights / fans which were intended to be suspended from the shepherd's poles.

I believe there was something specific made for that port. I recall reading about something to be used in an add a room or screen enclosure. I think it was just another light that I assumed was very similar to the fan/light for the bunkend.

Found it!.....its called a "portable light".

Nice! That would be a nice add on for in my add a room........ I knew there had to been something but chances of finding one of those though. [:(]

I will use my bunk fan but I bet the cord was longer on that one.
