I thought it would be fun to see photos of your favorite camping meals. Just post a pic with a brief description,
    I'll start us off.

Here's my 7-hour wine braised leg of lamb with potatoes, carrots, and onions. Heavy on the garlic and loaded with melt in your mouth deliciousness!

    Just Kidding........

My dad took us camping every year when the Huckleberries were ready and he always made us huckleberry pancakes . Now I do the same trip with my family every year and its doesn't get any better than that . That is hands down my favorite camp meal

There's nothing like smoked pig! Here's a smoked ham and tenderloin I did for a family camping trip.

I just tried something new camping and we had it tonight! It is taco soup and stovetop cornbread! Tonight was the perfect night to make it due to the weather being in the 40's![IMG]

Stovetop cornbread was a friggin hit!

Just prepare your ground beef like you would for your favorite meatloaf. My wife uses a unique combination of bread crumbs and oatmeal, along with salt and pepper. Pack the ground beef mixture into an onion skin. I REALLY like Vidalia onions, when you can find them. Then cook in a cast iron skillet. We like cooking over the fire, but it can be prepared on a camp stove. Serve with your favorite condiments. I kind of alternate between ketchup (Heinz, of course, help me to retire) and A1 steak sauce. Scrup-dilly-icious !! [:)O] [:)O]

Try ketchup a splash of worcetershire, and fold in some honey.

Screw the mountains...I'm moving into YOUR neighborhood!! Maybe I can rent your Camp Driveway for a few meals?! [:)O][;)] [}:)] [A] [LOL]

That is exactly the kind of thing my dad would host once a month...heavy on the raw oysters!! OMG you make me want to have frog legs & gator shipped here. Catfish I can get here. Seriously...I need directions to your house! Or at least the campground....wherever the food is!! [8D] [LOL]
