Power Converter Trips GFI

I have a Centurion 3000 converter in my unit. Is it normal for it to trip the GFCI on the Shore Power?

No normal at all, something is wrong with the wiring.

Why do you believe the converter is the problem?

A GFCI trips due to an imbalance between the hot and common, it is doubtful that the converter would do that.

On mine, I found that whoever wired up the converter hooked the neutral and ground wires to the wrong strip. Once I moved them the the correct strip in the converter, the problem was fixed.

Probably not a common occurrence, but wanted to through that out there.

Correct, the neutral and ground should not be bonded in the converter/power center which is treated as a sub panel.
