I have a Pop-up with 30 amp converter that quit working. Question is: Should I replace the 30 amp with a 50 amp converter? I've heard that many camp grounds are replacing 30 amp with 50 amps. Will a new 30 amp be obsolete in the next few years.

You have no need for 50A in a pup. The 30A plug isn't going to be obsolete anytime soon. I am sure future pedestals will still have 30A and 15A sockets as well as 50A. Of course, a guy can always carry an adapter in case he ever found a 50A only service

I've stayed in many campgrounds that only have 30A power (along with 15A). I've never seen any that have only had 50A power. I don't see this change happening in my lifetime, and if it does, you can buy a cheap adapter.
