The park is well kept with all roadways paved. The bathhouse is small and older but well kept. Most sites have water within a couple of sites and easy to get to. A lot of the sites allow great view of the lake which we enjoyed along with the fishing. Down side was the map shows the bathhouse close to our site but a large hill and brush was also between it. The advantage to this was the lower loop didn't block the view to the upper loop. Spent 5 days there and was time well spent.

The site I would recommend would depend on needs. If you need to be close to the bathhouse take 39-45. Even though 1-5 seem close you need to follow the roadway around to the bathhouse. For a view of the lake 8-15. If you don't need the bathhouse the West campground 81, 83, 85 would be nice.

Just remembered on thing that you may need to consider this year if you go. They are dredging the lake and once it starts they are suppose to work 24/7 until it freezes. They seem to be working the kinks out of it when we were there. They did work for 8 hrs on Sunday. For this reason you may want to consider the west campground as you won't be near the water and the noise.
