Hey All, Finally got some of my photos uploaded and ready to share. Here's a shot of our rig just before heading out for our last camping outing. I had purchased one of those adapters for the hitch insert, to allow a bike rack to ride along above the tongue of the trailer, but that morning I hooked up and found a couple things, one, my trailer's safety chains were NOT long enough to reach the hitch, and two, it appeared that the bikes were going to interfere with the tongue jack handle, which is fixed in the vertical position. Wished that this picture would have also had our bikes, that would have made for a better trip overall, but the following road trip went off without issue. 1998 Blazer towed at 65-70 MPH, and I got approx. 16.5 MPG.
Happy camping as well from Houston! A few trips and you will have it perfected with help from many here.
