I'm a new PUP camper and also a new Geocache player. Anyone out there using the Travel Bug stickers to make their PUP a roaming TravelBug?

I was thinking about getting one of those stickers for my car but the pup would be a good idea also.

our TV is a trackable but a sticker for the camper would work too! Time to place an order!

I ordered my sticker(s) the other day. I special ordered a "duplicate" set so that I could put one on front and back of the PUP so that it would be visible regardless of how it's parked and when being towed.

It'll be interesting to see how many "discovers" I get on it.

Anyone have a link to these bumper stickers? I'd like to look into that.

    I ordered mine from

    http://www.cache-advance.com/products.asp?cat=11

I wanted duplicates (for front and back of the PUP); so, I just ordered using the "special order" and specified to match the bug ID number to the other one that I ordered.

The Bugs came in today... got a reflective one for the TV, and a black one for the PUP. SUPER fast shipping, great site! Registered the PUP as "Gone Camping".... thanks for the idea and the links!!

Finally got my decals. Took a while since they were a special order "set".

Registered my PUP as "Gone PUP Camping" on geocaching.com.

I installed a large 7" reflecting decal on the front and rear of the PUP roof. I also put a small 3" decal below my porch light by the door. All 3 tags bear the same tracking number.

I did this so that the tags would be visible no matter which way the PUP is parked. It will also be visible on the rear while towing.

From what I understand, "discover" logs aren't too frequent; however, it will be interesting to see if I get any hits.

I've also been watching for any of the decals on other vehicles; but, haven't seen one yet.

I might do this too. It would be nice to have a TB that doesn't go missing/lost for weeks at a time.

Both the TV and the Pup are trackables.

Oh, and we got a trackable tag for our Australian Shepherd, too. [:D]

I put the TB sticker by the door on the Pup. I thought about the back bumper, but considered the problem with trying to get the number to log it, if the trailer is set-up somewhere. Much easier to look by the front door, than to crawl under the back bunk.

We logged five caches on our Shakedown trip with the new Pup a little over a week ago.

    My pup is a TB.

I got the reflective decals that were sold online. (I forget what site) but its on the back window so it shines nice and bright when lights hit it at night! (added safety bonus! WOOHOO!)

I've had the bug stickers on the PUP for quite a while. Haven't had any "discovered" hits on it yet.

I've heard that if you camp at geocaching events you'll be more likely to get hits. I'm also thinking of getting some flags (geocaching, Portal, etc.) to hang when camping. This might generate hits too.

We have a Travel Bug sticker on the Pup for several years beside the door where visitors can see it and discover it or inquire about it. It is a great conversation starter and Geocaching stories. We have had several people stop to ask. A flag may be another item for wish list. :)

But, have you gotten any 'discovered' logs on geo.com? I'd like to do this, but I also would like to see some logs posted on it.
