We just traded our Jayco 1006 in on a 2008 Fleetwood Niagara and I have a question:

Do you leave the sink faucet in place when closing the roof or do you have to remove it ? To me, it looks way too tall to leave in place, but what do I know.

The reason I am asking is because the Owner's Manual says you can leave it in place even with the top down, but I have seen a post from a Niagara owner stating that his faucet was damaged by too much pressure from the roof.

So what do you Niagara owners do ??

    TIA

I have an 06 Niagara, and the rear bunk does not hit the faucet. To play it safe I do turn the faucet spout towards the door area.

I have, basically, the same model, an 08 Arcadia. I leave the faucett in place. Leave it straight ahead, toward the dinette and have no problems with anything hitting.

    Thanks for the replies. [8D]

We leave in the morning to go pick up the Niagara, we can't wait to get it home and get it ready for it's maiden voyage which is a camping trip during Christmas. [:D]
