I own a 2005 Fleetwood Americana Bayside. Can anyone tell me what the plugged hole in the center of my rear bumper is for? I imagine that it's related to the small box bolted onto the back of the frame. Any ideas what they do?

I have it too. The earlier versions of these units had the crank located low on the bumper vrs waist height. I think the manufacturer just kept the same bumper vrs revising them.

Its for a crank handle to lift the roof of the pup. Im guessing yours is in a diffrent spot.

You can also pop it out if you retrofit in the original optional power lift
