Hey guys. Well, as much fun as I had last year, my bride has decided that she wants a "proper" bathroom. Thus, we will likely go to the dark side, and the brand new Aliner, WHICH I LOVE, is going up for sale. :-( As much as I love the Aliner, I love her more, more than even bacon. But I have no idea what a reasonable price is and I'm looking for guidance. We got a 2018 Ranger 12. It's been kept in the garage when not on all 4 trips we took last year. I think it may even be less than a year old. We're in Kentucky if that makes a difference. I'd like to lose as little as possible but I understand we will take a hit.

I'm not sure if this is allowed so moderators delete if necessary.

    Thanks and condolences are appreciated.

Well, the camper is used now. I would knock 10% off what I paid for it when advertising and be prepared to go lower.

I’m in Virginia and used prices can be somewhat regional, however, a local dealer has a leftover new 2018 Aliner Ranger 12 listed for $12,900 and had a used 2018 Aliner Ranger 12 for $11,500 ( had because I bought it..lol).

Spring time is prime for sellers, should be able to get a higher rate than in the fall/winter

It is a good time to sell a used camper, and A frames are becoming increasingly popular. Check the NADA for your area. You can also look online at RV dealer sites and other sellers locally for asking price guidance, and then create a Craigslist ad to see how much interest you get. As with any commodity, local supply and demand come into play when pricing to sell.

I'd have little doubt you'd lose at least 30% of what you originally paid for it new, otherwise there's insufficient reason for anyone to bother when your original owner warranty doesn't also transfer to the new owner.

Price it high, tell her you can't buy a TT until it sells, and continue to use it in the meantime.

make sure it does not leak, and emphasize that in the sale (everything else is easier to fix). And yes you are going to lose $$.

Check out RV Trader for your local area. Prices change a lot by location. It is a good time to sell.

What are you looking at getting? The new Geo Pros is where I would go but love the fold down.
