Recovering upholstering cushion covers

    Any hacks for recovering the weirdly L shaped cushion on a U shaped sitting area?

    Those look tough! I can barely do a basic rectangle one nicely! Did you keep the old fabric? I would use a seam ripper to take the old cushion cover apart and then use the pieces as my pattern for new ones. Good luck!

    I didn't have the old cover to use as a pattern, so I just traced all the flat sides of the foam and added seal allowances. For the curved part, I measured the length of the arc to get the size needed for the material. It wasn't very hard to sew.

    I ran the opening (closes with Velcro) ask the way across the backs that meet in a 90* corner.
