My Dometic RM4223 has fins for condensing the ammonia vapor. These fins have nothing to direct air through them. I was thinking about taking some flashing and fashioning a shroud that would direct airflow through the fins. I could take some flashing and perhaps even cut out a hole for the 110v/12v controls so that I do not have to remove the shroud to access these controls.

Has anyone tried this? Any thoughts?

I prefer using Reflectix which can be bent and fashioned into pretty well any shape you want, is far easier to work with than flashing.
