REI apps

Hi Guys and Gals,

I found out today, via Email from REI that they have downloadable apps covering the outdoors.
Specifically:
Hiking, Trail Running, Mountain Biking, mountain climbing and backcountry skiing. Also one for the National Parks.

I have yet to explore them, I downloaded the hiking and NPS. I haven't explored them fully, but at first glance they look pretty cool and fun to plan hikes.

Thanks for the heads up, i'll have to download these and play with them.

I was playing around a bit, it looks like it is user driven, so you can add a description or information and submit it for review. Looks to be a fun and helpful add on. I still like a proper paper map. I will use it this summer in the white mountains of NH and see how it is.
