Hi i was told i could get some info on the mek method of fixing a Coleman camper roof. Anyone know on here where to find it?
I guess you haven't bought legos in a while , they are pricey! Lol.If you have just small areas you want to treat with a MEK/ABS slurry you can use kids' white Lego blocks which are made of ABS.
OR if you have significant damage and want to do the repair correctly and not ever have to deal with it again, read this thread - start with post #284.![]()
I have some pretty big areas on the abs to repair where should I start as it seems this abs slurry doesn’t really hold up. I also have a pretty big sag in the middle of the roof. How do I fix that.Hi i was told i could get some info on the mek method of fixing a Coleman camper roof. Anyone know on here where to find it?
Whats under the abs and what is GG. What kind of brace would work for this? Anyone have pictures? If you have large areas its best to rip off the abs and coat it with GG.
How do I remove the sag in the roof and what has everyone used for bracing it?
Sorry yes it’s a Coleman Fleetwood bayside that I’m looking to repair the sag in the roof.Sorry, but I never cease to be amazed that so many people will pose technical questions about their camper for which they'd like an answer but won't tell us basic vital info like make / model / year of camper. In this case the OP has referred to "ABS plastic" so I guess we'd have to assume his camper is a Fleetwood, 'though other manufacturers did experiment with a seamless plastic roof during specific model years. Arrghh.![]()
