Testing a newly installed Renogy battery monitor. Trouble Shooting, page 8 of the manual: "When connecting the load, if the backlight is blinking, the B- and P- are wired inversely." On visual check the the connections are correct. With no charging source but the ceiling lights on the backlight doesn't blink. When charged from an external charger, with the + lead clipped to the + battery post and the - lead clipped to the frame, the backlight doesn't blink. The monitor shows +3 amps into the battery. When charging from the, also new, PD converter the backlight blinks. The The monitor shows +22 amps into the battery. Has anyone else noticed this behavior.
