Where can one find real ABS pellets or sheets? I've searched the forums for the MEK formula and most say to use the airsoft BBS but the ones that I purchased apparently aren't ABS. I placed the BBS in a glass jar with a 1/2 covering of MEK for over 24 hours a wee bit cloudy but not dissolving like everyone elses says theirs are. Please, I need a vendor for either pellets or sheets to make the repairs that they have used. Thanks in advance.

Pellets are for sale on eBay and Amazon. Use a mix of 50/50. Let it sit a day or two.
I would suggest that repair the backside of the panels and make it strong. I would use fiberglass and fiberglass mat. Then all you need is automobile filler to finish the outside

Are you using the mek or acetone? Acetone takes a bit longer. The pellets i got are out of stock on amazon, but some came up with a abs pellet search. You xan use legos also, but thats probably more $$$. I think there the same as for the 3d printers.

I have 2 1 quart sized Mason jars that I've been using. One with MEK and the other with acetone. I've done a flame test as well as chemical test on what I was told by 4 different sellers both on eBay and Amazon that the product was ABS. None of them tested properly. I'm beginning to think that ABS is a "white elephant" for me.... Think I'm just going to do either sheet metal or diamond plate and just bight the bullet.
