Please bear with me since I don't know what the part is called. I'm needing to replace the black plastic part that is usually on the curved metal bar that is used to push the tent out over the bed. The bar that is used to push the tent out sticks into it before securing to the roof.

    Thanks.

I believe I know what you mean but it would help to know the camper model and year.

If you can't find an exact replacement...you can make one from a PVC "T". Most likely in the 3/4" size? [;)]

I think you are referring to the shepherds pole, it goes under the canvas from the camper body to the end on the canvas and hooks into a hole in the end bar. The manufacturer might have one or check with he dealers in your area, someone might have one on an old PUP thet you can get cheaply.

If you had the model in your signature before I apologize, I didn't catch it. The Viking 1906 is probably the same as my 1998 Viking 1906. The plastic piece gives me problems too. The picture I linked is not for your camper but just checking to see this is in fact the part you are talking about.
