Can anyone tell me what the putty is inside my outside speakers? I’ve seen anything from butyl tape to plumbers putty on the Internet. Also do you need special camper sealant for the outside of the speaker or can you use regular silicone sealant?
Don't use silicone. You want to use Dicor. They make a self-leveling for flat surfaces and a non-sag for vertical.
Can I use the same DiCor sealant As I would use for the speakers to put a new seal on the rest of the camper?
Got them installed this weekend. Had to get a 1inch spacer to make the new depth work. Thanks for all the help!
