I made a mistake when working on my roof and destroyed the bottom aluminum trim piece. This is the one that acts as both a bottom cap for the wood/aluminum as well as a drip edge and a rail for the mounting the rubber seal that keeps water out when the pup is closed (see picture). I need to completely replace this piece all the way around. I have searched high and low, online, metal shops, RV supply stores and everywhere else I can think of and can't come up with something to replace it. Does anyone have a suggestion? I'm even ok with having to solder or braze some thin steel pieces pieces together if I have to, but I'd rather find a simpler solution if possible.
