Tried some wax today. You can tell the difference. Left, wax on. Right, wax off. Now, paint the fence.

I know you might not be done but it is worth mentioning... Make sure you have a way to give that awning a larger drop, it looks a bit straight and also one side should be taller than the other specially if there is any hint of rain. I made an awning myself a few years ago and did not have and incline from side to side and it rained while we were away from the camper and if it were not for a family member that was in the next site something would have broke or rip. In the pictures yours look like it can collect water but then that might not be the way you intend to use it. Just a heads up. Looking great btw....

I have adjustable poles, and the awning rolls out to a longer length

This weekends projects will include replacing the bungee cord and hooks, and finishing up the trim for the floor around the door area. Then, it's all odds/ends! Oh, and I made a mistake on the date of the camper...it's an 85, not an 84. Just realized that after I got the new title in the mail from the PO today.

I understand you will be trying to use new bungee cord. My bungee ripped a few inches so I will try to saw a piece of canvas to fix that. If not I will try to use velcro like the Jayco does.

Also forgot to mention... I left the camper open last night during a light rain and checked on it this morning. There are a few areas in the canvas above one of the bunks that has a slight leak at the seams, so I have ordered a tube of McNett seam sealer.

I have this same camper in an 88 model. Do you still have the seat backs for the two benches at the tail end? If so could I get you to post some pictures and measurements. Mine was missing these two pieces and I need to fab up some replacements. Help would be appreciated. Thanks.
