Campground is near the Ossipee, NH area and 16 miles south of North Conway/Conway, NH. Campground is an older campground, which offers tenting all the way to seasonal sites. The campground has a petting "zoo" of barnyard animals, goats, pigs, horse and chickens. The sites along the Swift River (about 3 ft deep) are nice and perfect for a Pop Up camper. There is a beach of sorts that can be used for wading/swimming if you can. There is a General Store at the front gate and the gate uses magnetic cards for access. Mostly a shady campground in the trees, there is a field area, although the closer you get to the barnyard animals the more you smell them if the wind is right. The owners were very nice, we visited for the cleanup weekend, so stayed for free in exchange for cleaning up 3 sites, a very good deal. Site we stayed in had E/W and they both worked fine. They also have a huge picnic pavilion for groups.
The drawbacks, roads are very narrow, so if you have a big pop-up or a hybrid they can be tricky to navigate. Also, some sites are very hard to get into with a bigger trailer. When you call to make the reservation, tell them what you have and what size site you want. Some of the sites require almost a 90 degree back in job with only a 11 foot wide dirt road and trees lining the road. The bathrooms are old, but clean. We did not use the showers as we had one in the trailer.
Overall, a nice campground on the river. We have a hybrid but if I went back, I would use the tent and get a river site.
